Advisory from operators who ship.

Hubbs Enterprises takes consulting and advisory engagements alongside its product work, in two areas where we have real, current standing: putting AI to work inside organizations, and helping insights and analytics companies build what their clients actually need.

Advisory area 01

AI workflow implementation and adoption

Most AI advice comes from people who have never shipped an AI system. Ours comes from building them — the production platforms and agentic workflows on the Work page run in front of real users, against real budgets. The tools are extraordinary in the hands of people with expert judgment about what to point them at; that judgment is what an engagement builds into your team.

We advise leadership and operating teams on making AI real inside their organizations: which workflows are worth rebuilding around AI and which aren't, whether to build or buy, how to design agentic workflows that survive contact with production, and — the part most initiatives skip — how to get teams to actually adopt what gets deployed. Engagements end with working practices, not a slide deck.

  • Selecting the AI use cases worth automating — and saying no to the ones that aren't
  • Build-vs-buy decisions, model and tooling selection
  • Designing agentic workflows that hold up in production
  • Adoption — changing how teams work, not just what they license

Advisory area 02

From client need to market: insights, data analytics, and advertising effectiveness

In 2007 the founder left his faculty position at Northeastern University in Boston to build what became Purchased, a consumer data and analytics firm, and spent the nineteen years since asking one question: why did this person buy, and why did that person not? Word-of-mouth measurement, experiential, 360 touchpoints, consumer journey, customer experience, the full-funnel impact of digital advertising — each was a different instrument pointed at the same question, for clients including Google, Walmart, Microsoft, and Gap Inc.

Nineteen years on the vendor side of insights teaches you what only arrives the hard way: clients buy better decisions, not deliverables. Being early is not the same as being scalable. Evidence of what people did beats what they say they did. And bespoke work endures only when there's a rigorous, repeatable framework underneath the customization. For companies bringing insights, data-analytics, and advertising-effectiveness products to market, we work as the liaison between what clients truly need and what you're building: pressure-testing methodologies against the problems buyers are actually trying to solve, shaping how technology turns data into decisions someone will be accountable for, and helping product and go-to-market teams speak the language insights buyers use.

  • Translating what clients truly need into methodology and product requirements
  • Pressure-testing measurement approaches — advertising effectiveness, brand and purchase-decision research — before they go to market
  • Positioning and go-to-market language that lands with insights and analytics buyers

How engagements work

Every engagement is founder-led: the person advising is the person who built the systems and ran the client work. We keep the number of engagements small so each one gets real attention, and formats range from a focused advisory sprint to ongoing counsel. Start with a note about what you're trying to do.
